Galeb Sisters Open Mats

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu isn't just for male practitioners. As BJJ is one of the fastest growing sports around the world today, many of those interested in the sport are females too. Here at Galeb Brothers BJJ we pride ourselves on our family environment to make both male and female students feel comfortable whilst training at our academies.

Over the weekend we held our second 'Galeb Sisters Open Mats' at Galeb Brothers BJJ Southside. Our female kids, juniors and adult students from our different academies all made it up for the session and it was a great day for all involved. A one hour session of drilling & rolling and a lot of fun, laughs & new friendships made.

We aim to have a girls only open mat session once a month at one of our four different South East QLD academies (Gold Coast, Helensvale, Southside or Toowoomba) to keep the female spirit of BJJ alive and strong.
